Prof. Koshy, a Senior Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, is an internationally reputed academic, consultant and corporate executive mentor in the domains of marketing and strategy. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Federal Bank for six years and, subsequently, Chairman for about two years. Prof. Koshy is a co-editor and co-author of four books, including the very popular and best-selling Marketing Management – A South Asian Perspective, with the legendary Marketing Guru, Prof. Philip Kotler, and others. At present, Prof Koshy is Chairman of the Advisory Committee of National Aluminum Company, Bhubaneswar, and a member of the Committee for India Handloom Brand constituted by the Government of India. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Malayala Manorama and Visiting Professor at the European School of Management, Paris.
Mr. Schmid has a graduate engineering degree in Mechatronics and Automation Engineering from Esslingen University, Germany; further honed by post-graduate studies and living experiences in Singapore and Asia during the past seventeen years. He currently holds the position of Head of Asia and Pacific for Festo Didactic SE – the educational arm of Festo. Over the past thirteen years, Mr. Schmid has helped develop the educational market for Festo Didactic across Asia, Middle East and parts of Africa; supported by various publications in the fields of curricula design, holistic approaches of training and excellence centres, in addition to others.
Mr. Calder’s current appointment is strategic marketing for India, at the Australian Trade Commission. During his previous stints he weighed in as Trade Commissioner Mumbai and Trade Commissioner New Delhi.

Mr. Rohit Gupta has proven history of effectively building, leading and transforming captive R&D organizations; R&D management experience with demonstrated ability to strategize, lead and deliver technology products using the latest methodology with efficiency and maintainingbusiness predictability. In his career span of 18+ years he has held various leadership positions in the engineering industry and has worked with Global MNC like GM and Bosch. In his current role as Head of Engineering for Simulator & IT projects at Knorr-Bremse Technology Center India, he has been instrumental in establishing high performance teams delivering on complex technology platforms in a short span of time. He has received several recognitions from the top management for his outstanding contributions in the establishing product development competency within the organization.
Mr. Peter has enjoyed a varied career across public and private enterprises both in Australia and internationally. Over recent years he has held a number of positions within the education sector both at University and vocation education institutions predominantly in marketing and business development but also working on strategic projects including learning space and infrastructure development. Peter worked with the Australian Trade Commission between 2006 and 2010. His primary responsibility was export trade development and investment attraction with and on behalf of Australian companies and industries within the developed markets of Europe. Prior to joining Austrade Peter worked in a variety of industries spanning imaging, brewing, electronics, fashion retail, textiles and heavy engineering sectors. Peter was based in Hong Kong for six years, working for the US Corporation, Polaroid, in a variety of senior operational management positions in China and Japan. This culminated in his role as Vice President of Marketing for the International business unit. In most of his business life Peter has been dealing in international markets in one form or another either through manufacturing and supply chain management or with market development and investment focus. While he is based in Australia, Peter’s market experience spans the countries of South East Asia especially China and Japan, Western Europe, USA and parts of South America. Today at TAFE New South Wales’ North Coast Institute he support the development of new markets especially focusing on partnerships and alliances that expand the offering of improved skills training and vocational education. Central to this effort is Peter’s other passion of human centred design bringing a customer-driven focus to the learning experience. Peter holds an Honours degree in Science from Sydney University and a Masters in Business Administration.

Mr. Iyer is a key launch team member at Reliance Industries; his focus is on capability building. Presently, he is engaged in building a nationwide network of academic institutions, vocational training providers and Government bodies for Jio. He has over 30 years of working experience in sales, service and people management. He remains focused on achieving launch goals and delivery of sustainable experience to customers and employees. Mr. Iyer has earned an MBA from JNU, in addition to a PG in Management from Jamnalal Bajaj, and a BSc in Chemistry from Mumbai University. Maintaining his engagement with the academic world, he teaches at colleges in Mumbai and is an active speaker at academic events across the globe. He is embarking upon his Ph.D. on the ‘Science of Doing Good.
Mr. Bhandari has attained a B.E Hons in Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma in Business Administration. He boasts of a rich and varied experience spanning 38 years; seven of these as Chief Operating Officer & Vice President in the auto component industry, and 11 years in tool room and training centre – of which, seven were spent as General Manager & Head of the institute. The institute evolved into one of the leading tool rooms in India, attaining financial self-sustainability within 3 years of his tenure. He has also been appointed Director with one of the Big Four multinational consultancies. Extensively travelled, he has visited several technical training institutes across the globe. Mr. Bhandari is responsible for Project Karnataka-German Multi-Skills Development Centres, Bangalore and Gulbarga.
Er. Srivastava, a Civil Engineer and management graduate, possesses over 35 years experience primarily in the Construction and Real Estate industries, but also in higher academia. Presently, as Vice President of Amity Education Group, he oversees competency-based education in collaboration with the industry. He is an expert in structuring industry-academia partnerships to produce professionals of global competence. Before joining Amity, he served as Vice President to realty major OMAXE Ltd., and Dy. Director General of National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO). He pioneered real estate education in India by launching the ‘MBA Programme in Urban Infrastructure and Real Estate’. At present Er. Srivastava is guiding policy formulation of higher education in the country and is working as the Head of Institution of RICS School of Built Environment and Amity School of Urban Management.
Dr. Deshpande is currently working as VP – HR Strategy, Planning and Policy for emerging digital consumer businesses at Reliance Industries Ltd. In this role, he is responsible for shaping talent strategy, organization design and overall organization-building plans for the emerging businesses of the Reliance Group, within the evolving 4G ecosystem of media, e-commerce, payments, education, healthcare, etc. During his earlier stint as Head – HR Strategy, Planning & Policy, for Reliance Retail, he played a key role in the formation and early development of the Retail Sector Skill Council (RASCI). Dr. Deshpande has earned his B.Chem. (Eng.) from the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai; MA (Personnel Management & Industrial Relations) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS); and MSc and PhD in Organizational Behavior from INSEAD, in France and Singapore. He was the batch-topper at TISS. Dr. Deshpande has presented his research at various international academic conferences in the US and Europe. He was a visiting doctoral fellow at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA, and has been visiting faculty at Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) and TISS. He is also a member of the Skill Development Committee of Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC) and the CII Taskforce for the specially-abled.
Dame Asha Khemka DBE has dedicated a lifetime’s service to further education and skills training in the UK and is possibly one of the most prominent figures working in the sector today. As founding Chair of AoC India, Dame Asha has spearheaded education developments between India and the United Kingdom. She has accompanied several ministerial delegations to the sub-continent and joined the British Prime Minister, David Cameron in January 2013. As an education leader, Dame Asha sits on numerous national boards and committees including The Association of Colleges, The Education and Training Foundation, the Indo British Trade Council, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Local Enterprise Partnership, The University of Nottingham Council and the Cabinet’s Education Honours Committee. As Chief Executive of West Nottinghamshire College Group since 2006, Dame Asha has steered the college to become one of the most successful in the UK. The college Group is now a multi-million pound business in its own right, making a difference to over 35,000 young people and adults who study there each year. It is one of the most successful providers of apprenticeships in the UK with 13,000 apprentices each year. Whilst rooted in its local community, the college has an international footprint with its subsidiary company bksb operating in over 20 countries worldwide and recently opened a centre in Chandigarh. Dame Asha is passionate about furthering the aspirations and ambitions of young people; in 2008 she founded the Inspire and Achieve Foundation, a charity dedicated to transforming young people’s lives. Dame Asha’s contribution to education has been recognised by numerous accolades. In 2009 she was awarded the OBE for services to education and just five years later in January 2014, became the first Indian born in living memory to be appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Also in 2014, Dame Asha was named the inaugural recipient of the DadabhaiNaoroji Award in recognition of her contribution in the field of education to Indian and UK relations. In December of the same year, she was named ‘Woman of the Year’ by the Prime Minister, David Cameron.
Col. Prakash Tewari (Retd) is the Executive Vice President, CSR & Education of the Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL). Developed a large number of Steel Wires as Import substitutes which resulted in a foreign saving of about US$ 1.0 billion a year. These were developed by R&D Teams led by Krishan Khanna. These products are used by Textile, Construction, Ball Bearing, Mining, Agriculture and Automotive Industry. In 1971, he developed the present day pre-stressed, pre-cast, concrete Railway Sleeper, on which the railway line is laid, used by all the Indian Railways. The entire work was completed in 12 months. The Railways were working on it for 9 years, 1961 to 1970, without commercial success.

Anupam Chakrabarty (M.Tech, PGDBM) is working as Deputy General Manager – Product Engineering at John Deere India. In this role, he is responsible for Engineering Program Management for Export Tractor Programs for Utility Tractors. He also had managed leadership roles in Core Technology Areas of Automotive Body Exteriors and Interiors, Trim Design and Vehicle Integration. He has 21 years of rich experience of Product Design and Development of Passenger Cars, Commercial Vehicles and Farm Tractors and has led a number of large scale Product Development Programs in all these different classes of vehicles. Prior to joining John Deere, Anupam held a Program Engineering Manager role with General Motors Technical Centre India where he was responsible for New Product Introduction of Passenger Cars and Multi Utility Vehicles. Previous to that, he had worked with Tata Technologies and Tata Motors at their Engineering Research Centre (ERC) in Commercial Vehicles group and led design team for Low Floor Buses. Anupam holds a first class bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from REC Durgapur and he received his Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Ranchi University and PGDBM from Symbiosis University Pune respectively. Anupam is a member Indian Value Engineering Society and SAE India.
Leighton Ernsberger is the Assistant Director Bengaluru and Skills for the British Council in India. He has worked in the Education and Skills sector for over 12 years. He holds an MA in Educational Planning, Economics and International Development from the Institute of Education in London. He has worked on key UK Government programmes in the Skills sector, including Funding Simplification and Qualification Reform. He moved to India in 2012 where he has worked with British High Commission and the British Council to engage policy makers, conduct research into English Skills for Employability, Third Party Assessment and Blended Learning in an effort to build closer ties between the best of the UK to key players in the education system in India. In addition to his national responsibility for Skills, Leighton is also the manager of the British Council’s office in Bengaluru and work in Karnataka, as well as the project director for the Technical Assistance grant from the Japanese Fund for Poverty Reduction (JFPR), supporting the ADB loan to the Government of India to Support Human Capital Development in Meghalaya.
Mr . Anvar Sadath is the Chief Executive Officer of Eram Scientific Solutions Pvt. Ltd. since 2012. He has played a critical role in building the brand “eToilet”, India’s First Electronic Public Toilet. Under his leadership, the Company has expanded its reach in over 19 states in India with 1600+ eToilets in the field and 40 awards to its name. He also heads the Innovative Projects department of the Company and is the principal investigator for the Reinvent the Toilet Challenge-India. Before shouldering the present assignments, Anvar was working as the Executive Director of IT@School Project under Govt of Kerala. He led the implementation of ICT enabled education, Broadband internet, ICT infrastructure deployment, e-Governance activities, e-Content development, Capacity building programmes, Smart School initiatives, Laptops to Teachers scheme etc. in the education department catering 6m students and .2m teachers. Previously, Anvar was working as the Director of Akshaya, the largest tele-center project in India, where in he was instrumental in establishing Rural Internet Connectivity Infrastructure deployment in addition to imparting computer literacy to 6.4 million families through 3000 tele-centers. He is also a member of the National Resource Group for RMSA Programme constituted by the Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Govt. of India.

Anita Rajan is the Chief Operating Officer of Tata STRIVE and Vice President, Tata Sustainability Group. Tata STRIVE is a global skills building initiative of the Tata Group with a mission to develop capacity to train youth for employment, entrepreneurship and community enterprise. It is a Global CSR initiative and drives impact through collaborations with Central and State Governments, NGO’s and other Corporates Anita has over twenty years of experience in the education and management sectors. Prior to Tata STRIVE, Anita was Principal Consultant at TCS, supporting Skill Development work of the Chairman -National Skill Development Agency as well as National Skill Development Corporation. A highlight of her work is the research and contribution to the book ‘The TCS Story and Beyond’ by S Ramadorai released in 2011, which was a bestseller. Prior to joining TCS, she was Head of Research and Training with ILFS -Schoolnet India an E- education company in India. Her early management career was with the advertising firm Lintas India where she designed qualitative and quantitative advertising research programs. Her experience in education sector comes from being a high school Math educator for several years. Her academic credentials include an MBA in Marketing from Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, she is an alumnus of the prestigious St Stephens College, Delhi University where she earned a BA Maths Honours degree. She also holds a Bachelors in Education from Mumbai University.
Suraj is from Ranchi, Jharkhand, India currently settled down in Bangalore, Karnataka, India for the past 20 years. During his tenure with Bata he was certified as a Sales Trainer and anDomestic Enquiry Officer for industrial disputes. In 1996 he then took up a job with Bosch India (then Motor Industries Company Limited - MICO) based out of Bangalore, during his tenure as a Manager at Bosch he headed the Recruitment and T&D departments and was deputed to theirglobal headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, for a period of 2 years responsible for international/intercultural sensitization.During his tenure at Bosch he attained a master practitioner’s degree in NLP, became a certified ISO 9000 auditor and was also certified as a Be-QIK facilitator, team workshop moderator and a qualified inter cultural trainer. He was also recognized for his contributions by the National Human Resource Development (NHRD) Network - Bangalore Chapter as an achiever under the Young HRManager category and was also a part of the Team that won the best HR practices Company Award from NHRD. In 2003 he left them to join General Motors as General Manager – Human Resources, heading the HRfunction at General Motors Technical Centre – India,which housed the Engineering Services and the India Science Lab at Bangaloreand was part of the Project Leadership Team responsible for setting up theiroperations in India. During his tenure at GM he was certified as a DDI instructor and by the company as a Go-Fast Coach and appreciated by the Chairman for his contributions in setting up the centre. In 2006 he joined Textron Indiain Bangalore, India, as Director Human Resources and was instrumental in setting up the entire HR infrastructure. In November 2008 he was given the additional responsibility of the position of Deputy MD, responsible for the TGTCat Bangalore and inducted as a member of the Board. In 2011 Suraj joined AirbusGroup and is now their Regional Director HR for Indiaand is responsible for all Airbus Group HR Operations in India. He is also the National Representative for the Airbus Corporate Foundation in India and in 2015 was conferred with the Gold Karmaveer Chakra and the Rex Karmaveer Global Fellowship for his contribution towards the Bio Diversity Program by iCongo in association with the UN. In 2013 Suraj was conferred with the HR Leadership Award and in 2015 with the 100 most influencial HR Professional in Asiaby Asia Pacific HRM Congresss for his contribution in the area of HR. Suraj has an overall experience of 23 years in the aerospace, automotive, engineering sales and marketing and manufacturing sectors and is located out of Bangalore. Dr. Reju M T IAS is the Chief Executive Officer of Additional Skill Acquisition Program (ASAP), Government of Kerala. Having ten years of experience in Administration, held various posts in the areas of Revenue Administration of districts, Rural Development, Human Resource Management for government and currently in Skill Development. Hailing from Kerala, holding a graduate degree in Homoeopathic Medicine and Postgraduate Degree in Public Policy.
John Mountford is Association of Colleges’ International Director, representing and supporting FE Colleges to develop their international work. This includes leading on the AoC’s International Charter, meeting international stakeholders and policy makers and supporting a number of groups focused on international education. John is also a board member of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics and EUproVET. He has also represented Colleges in the planning process for a number of UK Government led initiatives including; Education Sector’s Industrial Strategy, UK India Research Initiative and UK China Partners in Education. John has twenty years of experience working with international students and partners. This has included working in Mexico, Czech Republic and Greece . Mr. Umesh Menon is a Sr. Faculty Member of Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India and an International Expert for UNIDO, UNDP, World Bank, USAID, DFID and European Union. Umesh is also the Managing Director of Varis Management Services Pvt. Ltd. He is on the Board of Companies in Dubai, Uganda, UK and Mozambique. After completing his education with Masters in Commerce, Masters in Business Administration and qualifying as Certified Management Accountant, Umesh worked with Government Organizations and Corporates in India before getting into academics, training, consulting and research. Umesh has an overall work experience of 23 years. Umesh is at the moment pursuing his PhD in Management.Umesh has been instrumental in setting up many Entrepreneurship Institutions in Asia and Africa to offer Business Development Services to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in those countries. To be specific, Umesh has helped set up Entrepreneurship Centres in Mozambique, Laos, Vietnam, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Uganda. These centres were set up in collaboration with UNIDO and/or Government of India. Umesh has travelled over 62 countries around the world promoting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Private Sector Development, Entrepreneurship and Investments. He focuses on promoting new enterprises, strengthening existing enterprises, developing entrepreneurship linkages and supporting investment promotion agencies. Umesh is a co-authored the Investment Project Preparation and Appraisal Manual, a teaching material for UNIDO in the area of Financial Appraisal (A publication of UNIDO available for sale from UNIDO website). He has co-authored UNIDO Guidelines on Project Identification, Formulation Screening and Promotion with Prof. B. P. Murali, Chief Faculty of Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India. He has authored the Manual for SME Upgrading and the Manual for Performance Improvement Programmes for SMEs. He also edited "The Investment Opportunities for Greenfield Projects in Mozambique" and "The Investment Opportunities for New Enterprises in Laos". He co-authored an article on National Innovation Systems – A comparative study with Dr. J. Vinanchiarachi .He has co-authored an article titled "Rural Business Incubator for Local Economic Development" in the June 2006 issue of the Journal of Local Self Government. Umesh has authored 5 reports on Investment opportunities in Kisumu, Kenya and Investment Opportunities in Akure, Nigeria, Investment .Opportunities in Kumasi, Ghana; Investment Opportunities in Blantyre, Malawi and Investment .Opportunities in Mekelle, Ethiopia for the Millennium Cities Initiative, The Earth Institute in Columbia University. This was done as a part of the UNIDO contribution for the Millennium Cities Initiative.Umesh is the Associate Editor of Journal of Global Entrepreneurship Research and a consulting editor Journal of Social Business both international journals of high repute.
Vikrant Pande is currently the Provost of TeamLease Skills University, which is India's first Skills University in PPP with Department of Labour and Employment, Govt. of Gujarat. He has spent the last 23 years in the corporate sector working for large MNCs in the financial services sector like CitiFinancial, GE Capital and MetLife Insurance. He graduated from MS University of Baroda in Mechanical Engineering and earned his MBA from IIM Bangalore.

Sri. KG Madhu was born to Sri. P Gopi, a Retired Headmaster and Late Smt. Narayanikutty a School Teacher, at Mezhathur, Palakkad District in the year 1968.
After completing schooling, he joined for Diploma in Electronics Engg and passed out in 1983 with First Rank in Kerala state. Later he did graduation in Electronics & Telecommunication Engg from IETE, New Delhi.
He started his career as an Engineer at Shyam Antenna Electronics Pvt. Ltd, New Delhi, and then joined as Technician at Nuclear Science Centre, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. In 1988 he joined Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Trivandrum as Technical Assistant and later on promoted as an Engineer / Scientist.
He resigned his job at VSSC in 1995 to start an SSI unit, M/s Omega Electronics. Omega Electronics was manufacturing Electronics Ballasts for Fluorescent and Compact Fluorescent Lamps at Sasthamangalam, Trivandrum and later this unit was moved to SIDCO Industrial Estate, Pappanamcode, Trivandrum.
Sri. KG Madhu started Ammini Energy Systems Pvt Ltd in 1996, which is engaged in the Design, Development and Manufacturing of Energy Conservation Products and Systems. He is the Managing Director of Ammini Energy Systems Pvt Ltd and the other directors are his brothers Sri. KG Babu and Sri. KG Jithesh.
He started Ammini Solar Pvt Ltd in 2003 for the manufacturing of Solar PV Modules and Systems, at KINFRA Small Industries Park, Thumba, Trivandrum, the only such manufacturing unit in Kerala. He is the Managing Director for Ammini Solar Pvt Ltd and the other directors of Ammini Solar are his wife Smt. Aparna and his younger brother Sri. KG Jithesh.
