    The Government has launched an international outreach initiative – iSTEP (International Skill Training and Employability Programme), envisaged for faster, simpler and efficient processing required for setting up of Centres of Excellence (CoE) in various sectors. It aims at forming long-term sustainable relationships for skill development and employability with international organisations, industries, industrial clusters and experts.

    The shell infrastructure is provided by KASE and the training, certification and job opportunities including overseas placement is the mandate of the industry partners.

    • NICE : Nursing Institute for Career Enhancement

      Partnered with M/s. Trivandrum Specialities Hospitals (SUT-NMC group), to impart advanced skills training program in nursing. The courses are of 3 to 6 months duration.

      Partnered with Pragmatic Education, New Delhi, to impart advanced training in security skills. Conducting courses viz, PG Diploma in Security Management, Unarmed Security Guard, etc.

  • Accreditation Programme

    Reputed skill training institutions can associate with KASE in getting themselves accredited so as to enhance their reach and acceptance in gaining the finest candidates. The public gains more confidence in the services of accredited institutions when they know standards are monitored and enforced. The KASE symbol is a means of identifying institutions that uphold and sustain high standards

  • iSTEP

    International Skill Training and Employability Programme (iSTEP) is being set up in ITIs & Engineering Colleges across Kerala for skill development, innovation and entrepreneurship assistance for the youth. It functions as a single window scheme for international companies and organizations for setting up of centers of excellence for skill training in various parts of the state.

  • Indian Institute of Infrastructure and Construction (IIIC)

    An institute of international standards offering high end courses in construction engineering, and management and also providing skill training for workforce ranging from trades including masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, draftsman with CAD expertise, supervisor and site manager etc. Thrust is given to overseas employments.

  • Employability Centers

    Employability Centers are state-of-the-art skills enhancement and placement hubs set up at Kollam, Ernakulam, Palakkad, Kozhikode and Kannur. Further, two more Employability Centers are being set up at Kottayam and Alappuzha. The purpose of the Employability Centers is to assess the employability quotient, to counsel and to impart exhaustive soft skills and other requisite domain skills for ensuring placements for the job seekers in public and private sectors.

  • Advanced Soft Skills and English language Training (ASSET)

    KASE partners with Kerala State Welfare Corporation for Forward Communities (KSWCFC) to hone talent in youth and to ensure better career prospects through Advanced Soft Skills and English language Training (ASSET). The training providers are affiliated by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
